COURSE OVERVIEW
This training is for qualified First Aiders and Emergency First Aiders to enable them to recognise and treat anaphylaxis safely and effectively. This course is suitable for all First Aiders and healthcare professionals, as well as those in a high risk environment where such medication is available.
ASSESSMENTS and
CERTIFICATION
This is a classroom-based course of 6 contact hours. In-class assessments are conducted through practical exercises, open-ended questions, and multiple-choice tests to ensure thorough understanding and competence.
RQF Level 3 (SCQF Level 6) Award is issued and the certification is valid for 3 years. To maintain it, learners must retake the full course every three years, with annual refresher training recommended.
