Where an employer’s assessment of First Aid needs identifies that a First Aider or Emergency First Aider is not necessary, the minimum requirement on an employer is to appoint a person to take charge of the First Aid arrangements, including looking after equipment and facilities, and calling the emergency services when required.

COURSE OVERVIEW
This course provides learners with a solid foundation in key first aid principles and practices. A range of essential topics is covered, including relevant legislation, the use of first aid equipment and facilities, the responsibilities of a first aider, proper accident reporting procedures, and how to carry out a risk assessment of first aid needs in the workplace.
ASSESSMENTS and
CERTIFICATION
This course consists of 2 hours of theoretical training with no practical component. All participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion.
PRICING INFORMATION
The course is priced at £30 per person, £290 for up to 12 delegates, or £450 for up to 24 delegates. All prices are exclusive of VAT. Weekend sessions are available on request at an additional cost.
