COURSE OVERVIEW
This hands-on RQF level 2 course (Level 5 in Scotland) equips learners with the skills and confidence to use an AED effectively. It also covers essential basic life support techniques, including resuscitation.This course combines both practical and theoretical elements and is delivered face-to-face over a minimum duration of 4 hours.
ASSESSMENTS and
CERTIFICATION
The course instructor assesses delegates through observation, oral questioning, and a final question paper, awarding a pass only if the required understanding and skills are consistently demonstrated.
The certification issued is valid for 3 years. To maintain it, learners must retake the full course every three years, with annual refresher training recommended.
PRICING INFORMATION
The course is priced at £60 per person, £350 for up to 12 delegates, or £650 for up to 24 delegates. All prices are exclusive of VAT. Weekend sessions are available on request at an additional cost.
